Step-by-Step Export Process

Farmer Sourcing

Beans are sourced from vetted farmer networks and cooperatives with lot-level identification.

Export Shipment

Containers move through Douala or Kribi with complete customs and shipping documentation.

Pre-Export Formalities

  • Register COCOABRIDGE Ltd in the Ministry of Trade exporters' file.
  • Obtain taxpayer card & customs registration.
  • Secure all permits and commercial documentation.
  • Obtain Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, and Stuffing Certificate.
  • Quality verification through accredited agencies (e.g., SGS).

Taxation & Single Window

  • Submit documents to GUCE (Single Window for Foreign Trade).
  • Obtain Bordereau de Taxation (BDT) for exit duties.
  • Pay exit duty (typically 10% of FOB value).
  • Pay royalties required by the National Cocoa & Coffee Board (ONCC).

Export Declaration

  • Submit export declaration via SYDONIA++ system.
  • Customs verification of liquidation documents.
  • Provide all required certificates and quality verification documents.

Good-to-Ship (GTS)

  • Customs grants GTS authorization after checks.
  • Physical inspection may be conducted before cargo leaves storage.
  • Present waybill/export manifest at exit points (port/land/river).

Loading & Export

  • Load cocoa into containers using stuffing certificate.
  • Carrier issues Bill of Lading and transport documentation.
  • Final clearance by customs after GTS approval.

Post-Export Compliance

  • Retain all export documentation for audits.
  • Traceability for zero-deforestation certified cocoa.
  • Report export volumes & quality to ONCC.

Coffee Export

COCOABRIDGE supports coffee export programs for Arabica and Robusta with packing options in 60 kg jute bags, 30 kg bags, or bulk container loads. We coordinate container loading, fumigation (if required), and full export documentation for international shipment.

Available shipping options: FOB or CIF with freight coordination, lot coding, and palletization on request for easier handling and customs clearance.
